Before you play

Recording & reporting

We highly recommend recording 100% of gameplay to catch any rule breaks.

If someone breaks the rules

It is your responsibility to:

Clip the incident.
Open a ticket in #open-a-ticket in our Discord.
Explain what happened.
Include what dino you were, what dino the rule breaker was, and a general time of when the rule break happened.

Chat guidelines

Keep General Chat PG-13.
If you encounter issues with something said in chat, please submit a ticket in our Discord. Attach pictures/video so we can verify what was said, as well as who said it.

Server reminders

Try to have your game's replay active or your system recording your gameplay, so if a rule break happens you have visual proof. This may not be the case all the time, but it helps staff determine if a rule break occurred or not.
If you encounter a rule breaker, let them finish so logs stay clear and accurate.

Community enforcement

The server owners and staff reserve the right to handle any type of behavior negatively impacting the overall community experience within both the Discord and in-game servers any way necessary, regardless of strike amounts.

Server 1

JurassicHub

Full aquatic spawn protection

No spawnkilling full aquatic creatures teleported by staff. You must wait 60 seconds to attack a full aquatic after they may have spawned in. Other than that, spawnkilling is allowed.
Waystones and safe zones

No attacking or killing players at Waystone (WS) and SafeZone (SZ), no camping Waystone (WS) and SafeZone (SZ), and no entering Waystone (WS) and SafeZone (SZ) to escape combat.
Group members

No attacking or killing group members. You must wait 60 seconds after leaving the group before attacking.
No mini modding or vigilantism

Behavior to get revenge for a rule break is mini modding or vigilantism. Revenge should be made through a ticket with evidence. This is a reportable infraction. Failure to follow this policy will result in an appropriate amount of strikes. It is a rule break to take “the law” into your own hands.

Self-defense vs mini modding

If you are attacked at WS or SZ, you may react to the situation by attacking back to defend yourself to survive. While we will not strike you for doing so, it is advised to try to not attack back so it is easier to determine who the rule breaker is.

You are not allowed to punish said rule breaker(s) by acting as a vigilante/mini mod and going back to kill their dinos as punishment, as you now are the WS/SZ attacker and susceptible to getting strikes even if you were originally in the right.

If you die during the situation, you may not return or spawn in as a different dino to enact revenge in a SZ. Revenge is best served through tickets with video evidence.
No spam

Any kind of instigating, whether it be an argument, KOS-ing, targeting, etc., is not allowed.
Location sharing in Global chat

Sharing another player's location in Global chat is prohibited. You may share your own location only. This rule applies regardless of who died during an encounter.

The location dropping, targeting, poaching, and staff discretion policies below also apply to this server.

Server 2

JurassicHub2 (Survival)

This server is a CHAT RULES ONLY server.

No spam

Spam calling / spamming in chat is not allowed.
Keep trash talk light-hearted

Trash talk is permitted; however, it must remain light-hearted. Trash talk that escalates into personal insults, targets individuals, causes emotional distress, disrupts global chat, or encourages others to pile on or ragebait is not allowed.

Sharing another player's location in Global chat is prohibited on both servers. You may share your own location only. This rule applies regardless of who died during an encounter.

Targeting definition

Targeting is considered a rule break if fulfilling the following criteria:

It must be a 24 hour period.
You must try to avoid the targeting by changing dinos, skins, location that you are playing, and no longer engage the player in gameplay or chat. All of these must be done.
The targeting must be directed on you by the same player/players to be considered targeting.

The targeting rule also includes verbal harassment/trolling, which will have to be either recorded, screenshot, or both as evidence of the harassment.

Server or community poaching

Any signs of malicious server or community poaching will lead to an automatic permanent ban from the game servers and the Discord.

Server or community poaching is when you advertise a completely different server with the intent to draw people away from the original server, mainly to boost the numbers of that server by using another server's numbers and success.

This includes, but is not limited to: linking people to a different server in the Discord, sending server invites to DMs, discussing people joining a server in game chat logs, and promoting another server publicly anywhere in both the game and Discord.

Staff discretion

The server owners and staff reserve the right to handle any type of behavior negatively impacting the overall community experience within both the Discord and in-game servers any way necessary regardless of strike amounts.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Claiming a POI as territory to keep others out of.
Persistent or repeated KOSing of the same POI resulting in other players or groups being pushed out or excluded from the POI.
Persistent or repeated targeting of other users either by specific individual(s) or by their group member(s).
Using Discord DMs and/or Discord server(s) to conspire to intentionally KOS, target, or perform otherwise toxic actions in-game at the expense of the greater community.
