This Privacy Policy explains how the Jurassic Royale discord bot ("the Bot") collects, uses, and protects information while operating within the official JurassicHub Discord community. The Bot is intended solely for use by the JurassicHub community and is not a general-purpose public Discord bot.
2. Information We Collect
The Bot collects only the information necessary to provide its features and services. This may include:
- Discord User IDs
- Slash command interaction data
- Gameplay statistics received from JurassicHub game servers through automated webhook events (such as login events, logout events, kills, deaths, and other in-game statistics)
This information is used solely to provide the Bot's features, including player statistics, and leaderboards.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
The JurassicHub Bot does not store the content of messages, images, files, voice communications, or other content posted by human users on Discord.
The Bot operates exclusively through Discord slash commands and automated game server webhook events. It does not monitor or retain the content of messages sent by users as part of its normal operation.
The Bot also does not collect personal information beyond the Discord account information necessary to provide its functionality, such as Discord User IDs and slash command interactions.
4. Data Sharing
JurassicHub does not sell, rent, or share collected information with third parties for commercial purposes.
Information may only be disclosed if:
- Required by applicable law.
- Necessary to protect the security or integrity of the Bot.
- Necessary to investigate abuse or violations of the Bot's Terms of Service.
5. Data Retention
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Bot's functionality.
Gameplay statistics may be retained to preserve leaderboards, historical records, and other community features unless deletion is requested.
6. Data Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are implemented to protect stored information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
While every effort is made to secure collected information, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. User Rights
Users may request information regarding any data associated with their Discord User ID or request deletion of eligible data by contacting the JurassicHub staff, or contacting the bot owner.
8. Third-Party Services
The Bot operates through Discord and is therefore subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The Bot also receives gameplay event data from JurassicHub's Path of Titans game servers through webhook functionality provided by Alderon Games. This data is used solely to provide player statistics, leaderboards, and other Bot features.
Infrastructure providers used to host the Bot may process limited technical information necessary to operate the service.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
JurassicHub may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Bot's functionality, data practices, or applicable legal requirements.
The updated Privacy Policy will be published with a revised Effective Date, and any changes become effective upon publication.
